Each year millions of people around the globe set New Year’s Resolutions all in hopes for something new, better, more exciting, profitable and so on.
I know from my own experiences, we can often set goals that are way out there and complex and as a result we often fail. I have also learned that if I haven’t addressed the real issue, the habits that create change, we fall back to our old habits that lead us to where we started. We have to change something to get a different result.
Mark 4, Jesus said the mustard seed being as small as it is grows to be the biggest in the garden (paraphrase)
When it comes to goals, start small and those actions will lead to reaching a bigger goal. Eventually, you will succeed in creating that desired new habit which will grow into something big.
It you want to get in shape, improve your wellness, run faster… start small and grow closer to your goal.
